Submissions

We’re eagerly accepting submissions of short fiction/flash fiction, poetry, graphic narrative, photography, and creative nonfiction focusing on the theme of Urban Mythos. Written submissions must be 3,000 words or less. The submission deadline is 01.01.13.

All submissions that are e-mailed should be attached as a .docx, .doc or .rtf file.

In the subject line of your e-mail, please write “SUBMISSION: LAST NAME, FIRST NAME – TITLE OF SUBMISSION.” Like “SUBMISSION: Gaiman, Neil– Neverwhere.”

In the body of your e-mail, please include:
- Title of submission.
- Word count (for prose).
- Your name, e-mail (and website/blog, if applicable).

Submit up to five poems or up to two prose pieces.

DO NOT SEND MULTIPLE E-MAILS.

Simultaneous submissions are not a biggie. Just let us know if your piece has been accepted elsewhere (legal issues).

Upon acceptance, pacificREVIEW reserves the right to edit your work as we see fit, though we will seek your approval beforehand.

PAYMENT AND LEGALESE:

All contributors will receive a complimentary copy of the issue in which they are published. Because we are very small, we cannot yet afford to pay our writers.
